Key Takeaways

Today’s episode is for you if:

1. You are currently taking a prenatal vitamin

2. You are actively trying to get pregnant

3. You are in your reproductive years

4. You have experienced or are experiencing any kind of pregnancy loss or infertility

My guests on the show today are Ronit Menashe and Vida Delrahim, the founders of the newest prenatal vitamin company on the market, and the only prenatal vitamin company for men!

WeNatal is the first prenatal supplement intentionally optimized for her and for him. Reimagining the gender paradigms around fertility and pregnancy, WeNatal is shifting prenatal care from women-centered to couples-centered—from Me to We.

THE BACKSTORY:

Ronit and Vida were both pregnant at the same time with their second babies, and miscarried a week apart. They thought they were doing everything right — taking prenatal vitamins, implementing a clean lifestyle and stress reduction, exercising, etc. — yet still, they experienced pregnancy loss. Through extensive research and consultation with doctors and experts, they realized that they weren’t paying attention to the other half of the equation…their husbands’ health. They realized how important preconception health is, not just for mothers but for future fathers.

This is how WeNatal was born.

THE PROBLEM

Fertility rates and healthy pregnancy outcomes are at an all-time low. For generations, men have not been a part of the conversation, yet they account for 50% of infertility and pregnancy health issues. Throughout history, the burden of infertility has fallen disproportionately on women. And while the female prenatal market is saturated, the vast majority of prenatal supplements focus on a female-centered approach. WeNatal is here to change that.

THE PRODUCTS

The WeNatal formula was developed by a team of Functional Medicine doctors, nutritionists, and fertility experts and is supported by cutting-edge scientific research.

WeNatal is backed by industry leading experts, including Dr. Mark Hyman, Chris Kresser, and Kelly LeVeque.
